VII Legion was a legion of the Imperial Roman army. Legio VII Claudia: Originally raised by Julius Caesar, this legion was later named Claudia Pia Fidelis ("faithful and loyal to Claudius"). Its traditional emblem was the bull.
Legio VII Gemina: Established later by Galba, this legion was stationed primarily in Spain. Its emblem was also the bull, often paired with a laurel wreath or a gladius in modern depictions.
