After Richard Aurili (1834-1914) - 彫刻, "Children's Riding" - 55 cm - Ceramic

A large, highly detailed European genre sculpture titled "Children's Riding" after the famous Italian artist Richard Aurili (1834–1914). The piece beautifully depicts a brother and sister riding a large working horse. It is mounted on a heavy, genuine dark marble base.Signatures & Marks:Features the original cast signature of the artist "R. Aurili" on the base.Stamped on the upper body with the factory mark "MADE IN BELGIUM" and the registered model number "508".Material & Technical Details:Please note for transparency: This is not a solid bronze casting. It is crafted using a classic early-to-mid 20th-century European technique: the figure is hollow-cast from a heavy, high-quality composite/sculptural plaster (as shown in the photos of the hollow interior) and finished with a thick, convincing metallic bronze patination. Visually and by weight (approx. 15 kg), it perfectly replicates the look and feel of solid bronze.Condition:In good antique/vintage condition with a beautiful deep patina. There is only one notable blemish: a small superficial chip in the finish (approx. 2-3 cm) on one of the horse's legs, exposing the lighter inner composite material underneath. It does not affect the structural integrity and is barely noticeable in an interior setting. The marble base has some minimal wear consistent with age. Please inspect all photos carefully350
