Hohner - Professional SE400 - - エレキギター - Japan

Hohner SE400 SE-400 Professional series f-hole semi acoustic electric arch top guitar. A copy of the Gibson es-175 and similar guitars. no serial number and a couple of hints that make us think that this is a Made in Japan model,( or at least the first run South Korean produce): *The catalogue specs would say mahogany for the neck but the neck is maple, and a nicely figured maple indeed! *The truss rod nut is a 4mm allen key nut, normally with Korean produce it should be 5.5mm allen key nut. *The look and the grace of the clean and tidy craftsmanship. *Very loud and a bass deep with authority, that only 2/3 times the value instruments would be able to achieve. *A nice long one piece maple slab lies glued under the top, making electric tones shrill, shiny and full of overtones and sustain! Original Humbuckers rip with tone and output when pushed but cool and smooth with soft playing. The guitar is in excellent condition. There of course are usage marks here and there but nothing unusual to her age. Only one hairline crack at the heel, but this does not line up with the neck body alignment and is only on the finish, not deep, not a wood crack. Normal that with age wood and finish shrink at different propotions. Other than this and some other small cosmetic flaws (please see pictures) there are no issues, neck is straight, the truss rod works all OK, frets are %90. All original. Please watch to see and hear the beautiful performance of this guitar on YouTube video, the link https://youtu.be/web4A1Xj5Jg Recently has been cleaned, set-up and strung with a fresh set of Daddario 10-46 strings set. Comes with a nice Gewa Gigbag used but in good condition.
