BAUME - BI MATIC - No reserve price - Men - 1950

The watch has a good quality Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, an ETA 2391, which is working nicely. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated, it looks good to the naked eye when being worn, on closer inspection there is some rubbing to the plate along the angled edges. The screw-on case back is stainless steel. It states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in lovely condition. The dial is signed Baume, importers of watches, including Longines, to the UK and the Commonwealth. Some marking to the dial, mainly around the edge. It is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in its original Baume presentation box.The watch has a good quality Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, an ETA 2391, which is working nicely.
