Aria - AC50 - - クラシックギター - Spain

Solid Cedar/Solid Indian Rosewood AC50 Made in Spain late 1990s. Many Aria guitars from the "Spain" series, dating from the late 1990s and early 2000s, were apparently crafted in the workshop of the Spanish luthier whose brand is known in Japan as "José Antonio." This attribution is based on construction details, labels, model overlaps, and reports from owners and dealers; however, there is no official confirmation from Aria explicitly naming José Antonio as a partner. The guitar features a carved Spanish heel and vertical side bracing, as visible in the photos. It is fitted with brand-new Van Gent tuning machines featuring an 18:1 gear ratio. When played with a strong attack, the instrument produces a characteristic, growling tone, making it suitable for both classical music and flamenco. The guitar has a light, responsive feel and fine craftsmanship; it is highly resonant and offers an extremely direct response. As a cedar-top guitar, its sound leans towards the bright side rather than the dark, featuring focused mids and a lyrical tonal character. The high notes above the 12th fret sound singing and powerful; the intonation is perfect. The frets have just been professionally leveled, crowned, and polished. The guitar has been stored in optimal humidity conditions. 650mm/52mm. NOTE: There is a 10x10mm area of "sunken" finish at the left corner of the bridge. It is difficult to photograph, and does not affect the playability. The actual surface of the finish is flat. The guitar has only a few small blemishes, and has no cracks or structural defects. String height is set low at 3mm in photos, original higher saddle inlay will be included. Weighs 1438 grams 4/4 size, 650mm/52mm
