ウィリアム・モリスの生地「アーティチョーク」デザイン、アール・ヌーボー、アーツ・アンド・クラフツ - Artmaison。 - テキスタイル - 300 cm - 280 cm

Exclusive fabric, 100% organic combed cotton, Oeko-Tex Standard certified, very soft to the touch, medium weight of 230 g per square meter. A quality like no other. The “Combed” finish gives this fabric a velvety softness to the touch. A guarantee for this William Morris luxury fabric. Try it to believe it! Design in Panama with a white background and details in blue, azure, and green. This 100% cotton fabric captures the aesthetic of the famous William Morris Artichoke motif, reinterpreting it in a brighter, more contemporary version. The design is dominated by large botanical inflorescences resembling artichokes, composed of elongated, overlapping petals that create a sculptural effect. The foliage, rich and sinuous, develops into vertical branches that chase each other with regular rhythm, generating a dense and harmonious pattern. Among the leaves appear small round berries, in shades of yellow and red, which add movement and a touch of warmth. The color palette is typical of the Arts & Crafts style: - Olive and sage greens for the broad leaves - Ocher and saffron yellow for the botanical details, - Rust red for the berries and inner petals, - Warm ivory as a base, to enhance the depth of the design. The result is a fabric with a classic and refined taste, capable of bringing character to any setting without feeling heavy. William Morris (Walthamstow, March 24, 1834 – London, October 3, 1896) was a British artist and writer. Morris was among the leading founders of the Arts and Crafts movement; he is considered a forerunner of modern designers and had a notable influence on architecture and architects of his time. He is regarded by many as the father of the Modern Movement, although he was not an architect himself. He founded a design studio in collaboration with artist Edward Burne-Jones and poet/artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who deeply influenced church and home decoration in the twentieth century. He also contributed importantly to the revival of traditional textile arts and their production methods. Look at the photographic sequence to see all the details.
