グラン＝プレスニーの刃を備えた打製石核、「バターの本」
材料：右面に露出した外皮層（外殻）を伴う茶褐色～黄褐色のサイレックスは、上部トゥロン紀（白亜紀後期の地層第2層）に典型的で、グラン＝プレスニー地域で採取された。
細長く、塊状でプリズム状の形と、左面に見える広い平行削り痕（削り出した刃の陰影に corresponding）—これらはこの独自の石器技術の特徴です。
寸法と重量：長さ25 cm、重さ1.5 kgのこの標本は、終末新石器時代に製造された大型核の標準に完全に適合します。『バターの本』は、整然とした大刃を数十本生産する前に最大で30 cmの長さに達することがありました。
グラン＝プレスニーは、アン＝ス＝ロワール県に位置する西欧の史前遺跡の中で最も重要な Sites のひとつです。
これらの産出物は主に新石器時代後期・終末期（約3500～2500年前）に遡るとされます。
当時、この地域には高度に専門化された削製工房があり、熟練の職人たちがこれらの核を製作して輸出を目的としていました。
