This is an Olympus PEN EE-3, the final and most refined model of the legendary Olympus PEN EE half-frame series, produced from 1973 to 1986. Designed by the legendary Yoshihisa Maitani, the PEN EE-3 takes 72 half-frame exposures (24×18 mm) on a standard 36-exposure 35mm film roll. Powered entirely by its built-in selenium photocell — visible as the honeycomb pattern surrounding the lens — it requires NO battery and offers fully automatic exposure, making it one of the most beginner-friendly and reliable vintage cameras ever made.
