Sandoz - Borneo - Automatic Chronograph - Valjoux 7750 - 21517 - Men - 1990-1999

Sandoz is an old Swiss watchmaker founded in 1870 by Henri Sandoz. Over the years, it became known for its high-quality movements, including the world’s thinnest movement in 1955 – the HSF 55. In 1971, Sandoz split into four independent companies: Sandoz Swiss, Sandoz Spain, and two Asian branches. The former kept making decent timepieces, such as the automatic pilot chronograph you see here. Condition: Very good for its age. The case has minor signs of wear. The movement starts and resets perfectly. Please refer to the pictures for a better description. Case Size: 42 x 49.6mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 14.2mm and a lug width of 20mm. Movement: Valjoux 7750, automatic with 25 jewels, 28,800 bph, a 42-hour power reserve, and a 12-hour chronograph function. Service history is unknown, but all functions work as they should. Bracelet: Original leather strap Crystal: Sapphire Box/Papers: Yes, box only
