Il s'agit de 3 excellents  figures de reliquaire Fang du gabon en bois historiquement connues sous le nom de bieri (ou byeri).
​Le peuple Fang, qui habite traditionnellement des régions de l'actuel Gabon, de la Guinée équatoriale et du sud du Cameroun, créait ces sculptures dans le cadre d'un culte ancestral.
