A very rare find—6 hand-painted dessert plates produced between 1848 and 1868 at the renowned Carl Knoll factory in Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) in Bohemia, which was then still part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The plates are made of fine white porcelain. They are decorated with a delicate motif of blue cornflowers and pink blossoms. The design is complemented by a classic blue geometric stripe and a beautifully scalloped rim with subtle gold gilding. Ideal for: Collectors of rare antique European porcelain.
