Rosenthal - コーヒーカップ (4) - Porcelain

Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in my offer. I'm offering here a curated set of four collectible Rosenthal cups and saucers, specially selected for their striking black-and-white palette and elegant monochrome appearance. The collection perfectly reflects the experimental postmodern and Op Art aesthetics that made Rosenthal Studio-Line internationally renowned during the 1970s–1990s. The set includes designs by celebrated international artists and designers: Elsa Fischer-Treyden, Barbara Brenner, Dorothy Hafner and Marcello Morandini. Each piece presents a distinct artistic language — from sculptural geometric forms and optical stripes to bold graphic decoration and minimalist modernism. Produced mainly between the late 1970s and 1990s, these Studio-Line designs are today highly collectible examples of German postmodern porcelain design. The combination of contrasting black and white tones creates a cohesive visual composition despite the individuality of each designer’s work. Designers: Elsa Fischer-Treyden ( no. 4 ) – sculptural modernist design, 1980s Barbara Brenner ( no. 3 ) – graphic Op Art inspired decoration, 1980s–1990s Dorothy Hafner ( no. 5 ) – Memphis/Postmodern style, 1980s Marcello Morandini ( no. 12 ) – iconic geometric Op Art design, 1980s–1990s SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS: * Brand: Rosenthal, Studio Linie * Please watch carefully all the pictures, they are also a part of description ( each one can be enlarged ) * I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc. - Any major damage -s is / are ALWAYS shown in the photos - * Please remember about Catawiki’s rules and make a payment maximally within 3 days after auction end The set will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ). IMPORTANT: If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment. Please don’t bid if you don’t accept that. Happy bidding and good luck! ***Condition categories according to Catawiki:*** * „as new” - unused * „excellent condition” - barely used with minimal signs of wear / usage * „good condition” - used with small signs of aging and / or imperfections / defects * „fair condition” - heavily used with possibly minor damage / parts missing * „poor” - heavily used with major cracks, damages and / or major parts missing * „very poor” - showing significant decay, loss of original texture or solidity of the material
