ROPP Bent Briar Pipe – Antique Tobacco Pipe

Maker: Ropp, France — 20世紀初頭に創業した歴史あるフランスのパイプメーカー（1904年に金属テノン“システム”パイプを特許取得）、伝統的なブライヤーパイプで高く評価されている。

Material: briar wood bowl with vulcanite (ebonite) stem, marked "ROPP" on the stem shank.

Shape: Bent bulldog/pot-style bowl with a sharp 90° elbow bend, tapered saddle stem.

Condition: Used, fully functional estate pipe. The bowl shows an attractive aged briar grain with natural patina from years of smoking. There is visible cake buildup inside the bowl from prior use, and a small chip/crack at the shank rim where it meets the stem (visible in photos). The stem shows light oxidation typical of vulcanite age. No structural damage — draws and functions as intended.
