Guilloché wave-style wooden frame, made in Italy in the late 19th century (c. 1850–1900), ebony-stained wood with hand-carved relief and faux burl inserts on all four sides; external 63 x 79 cm, depth 2 cm, internal 41 x 57 cm; used with age-related marks but in good condition.
