Entirely hand-built through the traditional coiling technique, the sculpture is formed patiently, coil after coil, before being refined entirely by hand. Made from red earthenware, its velvety matte surface preserves the warmth and honesty of raw clay, while the textured sandy intervention is applied manually like a single instinctive brushstroke, creating a tactile dialogue between smoothness and abrasion.
