A large Chinese blue and white porcelain wash basin (or decorative bowl), hand-painted with an intricate floral scroll design to the interior and a stylized foliate border below the rim. The exterior is decorated with four simple cobalt-blue scroll motifs, leaving the body elegantly understated.
