Up for sale is an exceptional, original legal manuscript document dating from the French Empire under Napoleon I and one from the middle of the XIX century. Good condition, perfect for collectors of napoleonic history, military/civil ephemera and genealogists. It is a Bordereau de creances - requesting a formal registry against a farming couple to secure a substantial debt. It includes an elite, highly detailed Empire Francois embossed tax stamp. Second document is the official notary certificate, written by Francois Bernard in Charent region. Document was part of my father's collection, who started collecting signatures of world leaders, actors, musicians, Olympians and football players in 1961. During 50+ years, he owned ~20.000 autographs in 180 binders and boxes.
