ドミニカン・グリーンアンバーは、珍しく透き通った着色を示す琥珀の一種です。サンティアゴ近郊の山々にある琥珀鉱山で最もよく見られます。その希少性ゆえにあまり知られていませんが、ドミニカン・アンバーが発見されて以来存在しています。（ambar dominicano）
人工光の下では琥珀は普通の琥珀と変わりませんが、日光の下では強い蛍光ブルーの色を示します。太陽にかざすと普通の琥珀のように見え、紫外線の下では鮮やかな乳白色の青を放ちます。年代は約2500万〜4400万年前と推定されています。水のように澄んでおり、完全に透明、コレクションのための唯一無二の逸品で、Catawikiでこれまで出品されたことのない高品質品です。
