バイエルン王国の3マルク銀貨、ミュンヘン造幣局で鋳造され、オットー1世の左向き肖像を配した落ち着いた現実的な作風が特徴の、20世紀初頭のドイツ貨幣学を代表する銀貨です。胸像の造形はやわらかな特徴と均整の取れた比率を持ち、摩耗は最小限です。裏面には冠されたドイツ帝国の鷲が中央の盾とともに描かれ、紋章的な存在感が強く、羽毛や装飾の細部もよく描写されています。エディションは浮彫がはっきりし、台部は比較的清潔で、独自の光沢を保つ鎖状の銀灰色の軽いパティーナにより落ち着いた表情を見せ、表面にはグレードに相応しい小さな表面傷があり、堅固で均質な外観を提供します。
