ルリスタン青銅の槍先 – 紀元前2千年紀～紀元前1千年紀
緻密に鋳造されたルリスタンの青銅槍先で、葉形を コンパクトにまとめた刃部が徐々に丸い先端へと細くなっています。槍先には元々一体の柄が残されており、明瞭なカラーの付いた接合部を介して木製の柄にしっかりと据えつけることができます。そのコンパクトな比率と頑健な構造は、古代ルリスタンの名工が開発した実用的で効率的な武器設計を反映しています。
この種の青銅槍先は、紀元前後の青銅時代末期から鉄器時代初期にかけて、イラン西部のザグロス山脈全域で広く生産されていました。このような小型の例は、軽い狩猟用または戦闘用武器として適しており、象徴的あるいは奉納品として用いられることもありました。表面には、鉱物の微細沈着と長期埋蔵の痕跡が認められ、緑がかった美しい考古学的風化被膜が歴史的な趣を高めています。
