Boss MT-2 Metal Zone + Boss HM-3 Hyper Metal – Vintage 1990s Made in Taiwan This lot includes two vintage Boss distortion pedals from the 1990s, both Made in Taiwan. The Boss MT-2 Metal Zone is one of the most well-known high-gain distortion pedals ever produced. It is appreciated for its powerful distortion character, active three-band equalizer with semi-parametric mids, and wide tonal versatility, making it suitable for a variety of rock and metal styles. The Boss HM-3 Hyper Metal, produced for a relatively short period, offers a different character compared to the Metal Zone: an aggressive, mid-focused distortion sound particularly suited for hard rock and classic metal. Today it is a less common model on the second-hand market compared to many other Boss distortion pedals. It also features an active two-band equalizer. Both pedals are fully functional and work as expected. The lot includes the original boxes for both pedals. Cosmetic condition is excellent, as shown in the photographs.
