ルリスタン銅製槍先 – 紀元前2千年紀～紀元前1千年紀
細密に鋳造されたルリスタン銅製槍先は、先端が長く細い葉状の blade（ blade は英語のまま残すと不自然なので「葉状 blade」として表現を避け日本語へ置換します）で、肩部が明瞭に定義され、中央の突出した中肋がほぼ刃の全長にわたり伸びています。槍先には元々一体化した柄が残っており、木製の柄へ確実に取り付けることを意図して設計されています。その優雅な比率と丁寧に補強された構造は、古代ルリスタンの銅器職人が達した高度な冶金技術を示しています。
この種の武器は西イランのザグロス山脈一帯で、青銅時代末期から鉄器時代初期にかけて生産されました。この例のような中型の槍先は、貫通力と耐久性が評価され、実戦的な軍事・狩猟用具として重宝されました。表面には、長い埋葬の年月を反映した美しい緑青の考古学的風合いが残り、点在する鉱物の結晶と薄い土の沈着物が見受けられ、 artifacts の本物らしい考古学的性質を高めています。
