1988年の、ほとんど保存状態の良い素晴らしい Jaguar XJS Convertible が紹介されます。 legendary 5.3リットル V12エンジンを搭載。特にこのモデルは英国ブランドにとって歴史的な節目にあたり、1988年はジャガーがファクトリー生産・量産のオープンカーを初めて導入した年です。これまでのクーペを外部のヘス＆アイゼンハート（Hess & Eisenhardt）に依頼して改造していた経緯を打ち破る開発で、同社は改造を外部委託していました。HEシリーズ（High Efficiency）の象徴であるV12ブロックは、マイケル・メイのファイヤーボール設計のシリンダヘッドを採用しており、1970年代モデルに比べて燃費と熱性能を大きく改善しています。この個体は公式塗装色コード CEH の深い赤系のボディカラーが映えるエレガントさを備えています。車両は保存状態が年式を感じさせないほど卓越しており、サイレントブロックやゴム部品が完璧な状態で、完全に弾力があり乾燥によるひび割れもなく、長期間の保管と徹底したケアを示しています。
