The interior is decorated with a qilin gazing at the moon, while the exterior is adorned with simple chrysanthemum scrolls. The entire piece is covered in a pale blue-white glaze, with natural, fine crackles throughout; the cracks are infiltrated with old yellow stains. The glaze is warm and lustrous, without any glaring new shine. This piece dates back to the Ming Dynasty, approximately 1436-1464, and was made by Chinese hands. Its materials and exposed clay areas help determine its material and production date. Condition: Fair condition, with signs of use and cracks, no debris, no signs of repair, produces a clear, ringing sound when tapped, and has been examined with strong UV light.
