精巧に成形されたアムラシュ文化の土器壺で、球形の胴から広い円筒形の口へと滑らかにつながり、わずかに外側へ張り出した縁を持つ。口縁の下から肩部へと一体化された把手には先端部に三つの顆粒があしらわれている。器は平らな円形の底の上に置かれている。表面には地衣・被膜の付着や摩耗、傷が見られる。下部の側面の一方には修理痕がある。
『アムラシュ文化』という語は、一般にカスピ海南岸のギランの考古遺跡で発掘された資料文化を指す語として用いられ、強い視覚的特徴を持つ鉄器時代の陶器と金属の作例の一群を指す。アムラシュ時代の陶器は、多くが同時代の青銅器の意匠・形態から影響を受けて制作されたと考えられている。アムラシュ鉄器時代の陶器伝統は、鳥のアイコンを伝統的な表現として採用することが多かった。本型の焼成器は明らかに注ぐための器として設計されているが、特定の葬祭儀礼・儀式の場で用いられた可能性もある。
