Artist Statement I’m fascinated by the body as a medium of expression—especially in ballet, where control, technique, and grace meet in every movement. This series is my attempt to show ballet dancers not as ideals, but as real, powerful bodies in action.I wanted to capture the moments between effort and elegance—the tension in tendons, the trembling of balance, the complete focus in their eyes. The sensuality in these works doesn’t come from posing—it comes from a deep respect for physical mastery. Ballet isn’t light. It’s discipline, pain, art—and sometimes, fleeting beauty caught in motion. Emma Wildfang is a young Pop Art and street artist whose works are part of collections around the world. Though she attended a prestigious master class early in her career, she has been working as a self-taught artist since 2002 – driven by curiosity, experimentation, and a strong refusal to be creatively confined.
