A beautiful sterling silver mounted Art Deco bottle, most likely scent or cosmetic bottle, made by the master silversmith William Hutton & Sons in Birmingham in 1926. A beautiful piece with understated elegance, the cap is decorated with a finely engraved Art Deco motive mixing Greek revival elements. The body is made of finely ribbed glass. Fully hallmarked on the side with William Hutton & Sons's unmistakable master silversmith hallmark and Brimingham city, sterling silver and year mark. the inside of the cap hallmarked with sterling silver and year mark. A charming piece with a lot of character. 12 cm high 6 cm diameter 308 gram In visually good condition but the hinge of the cap is broken and with wear and dents. A few small inconspicuous losses on the bottom rim.
