Both use Canons FL breech-lock mount, introduced in 1964 for the companys FL/FD-series 35mm film SLRs, and are operated with manual focus and manual (stop-down) aperture control. While designed for vintage Canon film bodies, both lenses are popular today for digital use and mount on modern mirrorless cameras via a widely available FL/FD adapter. Offered as a two-lens set for photographers and collectors of classic Canon glass. Important — please read carefully: Please note: the 50mm rear element has numerous cleaning marks and the 35mm rear element has a few (please see the photos), and the 35mm front ring has a knock.
