Peeping / Eisaburo Hara Eros Photography Collection, a collection of photographs by Eisaburo Hara, a well-known Japanese photographer and contemporary artist. Born in Arita, Saga Prefecture, a city of ceramics, he received instruction in ceramics and art from his father, and after moving to Tokyo studied photography in earnest, becoming active as a photographer in the 1970s and 1980s. He has collaborated with many artists, including Keiichi Tanaami on ‘Fictional Image of the Future’ and Yoji Kuri on ‘Parasite’, and has also worked in a wide range of other fields, including Japan's first gay magazine ‘Rose Zoku’, erotic nudes for Playboy magazine, architecture and interior design, and has since become renowned as a painter and contemporary artist. In his later years, he established the Hara Eisaburo Museum in his hometown of Arita, and devoted himself to the promotion of art and art. This book is a collection of portraits and nudes of women published in the early 1980s, beautifully illustrated with a soft focus reminiscent of David Hamiliton.
