Apple MultiScan 720 Display (M4552) – 16" CRT Monitor [WORKING] - マッキントッシュ - With replacement box

Offered for auction is an original Apple MultiScan 720 Display (Model M4552), manufactured in August 1998 and assembled in Korea. This authentic Apple CRT monitor represents the final generation of Apple's high-quality cathode-ray displays, introduced during the exciting transition period between the classic Macintosh era and the return of Steve Jobs. In the late 1990s, Apple was reinventing itself with products such as the beige Power Macintosh G3 and, shortly afterwards, the iconic colourful iMac G3. The MultiScan 720 Display was designed for users who wanted a larger and more versatile monitor than Apple's standard displays. Its crisp image quality, support for multiple resolutions and classic Apple design make it an attractive piece of Apple history. This monitor is an excellent addition for: – Apple and Macintosh collectors – Vintage computer enthusiasts – Museums or retro computing exhibitions – Users restoring late-1990s Macintosh systems – Anyone looking for an authentic Apple CRT experience The monitor has been tested by me on a Beige Power Macintosh G3 and is working properly. Please note that compatibility depends on your specific Macintosh or PC configuration. The buyer is responsible for verifying compatibility with their own computer, video card, adapters and operating system. Driver availability and supported resolutions may vary depending on the hardware and software used. Please research these aspects carefully before bidding. // Cosmetic condition As is common with many Apple products from this era, the plastics show age-related bromine discolouration (yellowing). The discolouration is not uniform: some plastic parts have aged differently than others, resulting in slight colour variations across the monitor. This is purely cosmetic and is considered a normal characteristic of vintage Apple hardware. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. A wonderful opportunity to own an increasingly collectible original Apple display from one of the most fascinating periods in Apple's history. // Specifications – Apple MultiScan 720 Display (with integrated cable) – Model: M4552 – 16-inch viewable CRT display – Manufactured: August 1998 – Assembled in Korea – Tested and working on a Beige Power Macintosh G3 Please note: The signed Steve Wozniak photograph shown in the photos is not part of this lot. It is included for display purposes only, reflecting Mr. Wozniak's personal appreciation of my Apple Refurbishing work.
