軽く澄んだターコイズグリーンのエジプト風ファイエンスで作られた、丁寧に作り込まれたウジャット（ホルスの目）のお守り。両面とも精巧に型取りされ、睫毛・眉毛・特徴的な markings がはっきりと描かれたホルスの目の stylized デザインが見て取れる。鮮やかな釉薬と優雅な比率は、後期エジプトファイエンスの高品質を反映している。
ウジャットの目は、古代エジプトで最も重要かつ広く用いられた護符の一つだった。神ホルスの目を象徴しており、神話上のセトとの戦いの後に復活したとされ、癒し・守護・完全性・再生を意味する。生者と死者の双方が身に着け、病気・悪影響・不運を防ぐものとされ、死後には神聖な守護の象徴として葬墓に安置されるのが一般的だった。
お守りには横方向の suspension（吊り下げ用の穴）が開けられており、当初は個人の宝飾品として身につけるか、葬具に組み込まれていたと考えられる。
