This is an authentic, original, one-of-a-kind Japanese production cel with an original background, created by studio artists and used in the production of Candy Candy by Toei Animation.
The artwork features Candice “Candy” White in a beautifully expressive close-up, accompanied by her pet racoon, Clint. Candy’s bright blonde hair, large blue eyes, and signature pink bows are rendered in vivid colors, while the detailed hand-painted background gives the scene added depth and warmth.
A Certificate of Authenticity will be included with your purchase.
This item is presented interleaved with MicroChamber paper, an archival material used to help protect the artwork by reducing harmful acids and paint fumes that may damage the cel over time. We are currently the only seller in Japan offering anime cels presented this way.
Please note that this is a vintage production item. Despite careful storage, age-appropriate wear such as light handling marks, paint wear, surface marks, or other minor imperfections may be present. Buyers are strongly encouraged to examine all images carefully prior to bidding.

Condition: Good. (Colors remain bright and all components of the set are present and well preserved. Cel and background are stapled/taped together, and as they were in contact with one another during the production process, resulting in minor paint transfer between layers. Overall, the cel and background remain in good condition and display very well.)
