Its all-metal construction, bright viewfinder and simple, battery-independent operation make it a durable and rewarding camera that remains popular with film shooters and collectors today. The Canon FD mount lenses can also be fitted to modern mirrorless bodies via inexpensive adapters, giving the optics continued practical use.
