A group of susuki (pampas grass), flowering plants, and trailing foliage unfolds across a luminous gold ground beside a gently meandering stream extending from the left, while a pair of chidori birds fly gracefully overhead. The composition achieves a harmonious balance between decorative richness and open space, evoking the tranquil beauty of the autumn season. Attributed to Katō Eishū (1873–1939), with a seal in the lower right corner. The screen is finished with a lacquered wooden frame. The screen can also be easily mounted on a wall or used as a room divider.
