KZRA - - ベーストランペット - Ukraine - 1959

Rare vintage musical instrument produced in 1959 at the Kyiv Radio Equipment Plant (KZRA) in Kyiv, Soviet Union during the Cold War era. This instrument features a classic nickel-plated finish over brass components, maintaining its traditional heavy standard weight of 950 g and authentic historical patina. History of the Plant The historical roots of the enterprise date back to artisanal workshops organized in Kyiv in 1924, following the revolution. Over time, these workshops grew into a large production association, and in the late 1950s, the enterprise was named the Kyiv Radio Equipment Plant (KZRA). Alongside its primary production, the plant manufactured rare wind and other musical instruments, which were assigned the "Orpheus" brand. In the early 1980s, the plant underwent a major reorganization and was transformed into the legendary "Mayak" factory, which launched the production of the iconic "Mayak-203" reel-to-reel tape recorders—devices that became world-famous and a true hit among the youth across the entire Soviet Union. The physical characteristics and specific metrics of this collectible piece include a Bb key configuration, standard piston valves, and an approximate bell diameter of 13 cm. The build incorporates a nickel leadpipe and nickel-plated valves, reflecting the distinct manufacturing standards of the period. The item is offered as a collectible vintage display piece and is sold in untested condition with visible cosmetic wear, spotting, and age-related flaws as documented in the visual materials. Professional servicing by a qualified technician is required if intended for musical performance. The package includes the cornet, the matching mouthpiece, and the original fitted hard case, bringing the total parcel weight to approximately 2670 g with dimensions around 49 by 21 by 15 cm. The keys and valves of the instrument are fully movable and not seized. The instrument is completely complete, with all its components assembled. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend carrying out professional adjustment and tuning work in a specialized, licensed wind instrument repair shop. Since the musical instrument has gone without playing practice for over half a century, it in any case requires a master's touch for final adjustment. Furthermore, during international delivery, shaking, vibrations, as well as changes in temperature, humidity, and pressure are inevitable during transit, which also requires skilled fine-tuning before full use. We have extensive experience in the safe shipping of fragile musical instruments: as seen in the photos, the original vintage case is perfectly preserved. Before shipping, the instrument itself will be carefully secured inside the case with a special filler to ensure absolute immobility. After that, the case is placed into an additional sturdy cardboard box protected on all six sides with a three-centimeter layer of Styrofoam and cushioning filler, serving as reliable secondary insurance during transit. Terms of Sale and Return (AS IS) Item Status and Delivery: The item is sold in "AS IS" condition and is not subject to return or exchange. Shipping is carried out from Ukraine. We guarantee reliable, high-quality, and safe packaging of the lot for international shipping. Buyers are advised to check in advance the rules and amount of possible import duties, taxes, and customs fees in the destination country. Return Conditions: In exceptional cases where the platform obligates a return, all associated expenses and risks lie entirely with the buyer. The buyer is obliged to securely pack the item at their own expense, arrange insurance, pay for postal or courier services, ship it with the provision of a valid tracking code, and fully cover all expenses, including import duties and customs fees upon returning the item to the seller. Prohibition of Unauthorized Interference: Any interference with the construction or integrity of the musical instrument without prior written consent from the seller is strictly prohibited. Such interference includes: any adjustment or commissioning work, replacement of spare parts, soldering, cleaning, removal of oxides, lubrication, disassembly, or any other manipulations. Any such action is recognized as a violation of the original condition of the instrument and a breach of its initial integrity. Inspection Procedure and Closing the Dispute: Upon return receipt, the item is subject to a commission inspection at the Ukrposhta post office. In case of detecting any traces of unauthorized manipulations (performed without written agreement with the seller), this is recorded as a violation of the original condition and integrity of the instrument. In this case, the dispute (case) is subject to immediate closure, and the funds are not refunded to the buyer.
