このメルセデス・ベンツ 380 SLは、アイコニックなR107シリーズのクラシックなラインを際立たせる、非常によく保存されたボディを特徴とします。金属系の塗装は車全体に美しいツヤを保っています。ただし、経年に伴う小さな使用痕が近くで観察すると見られる場合があります。ボディパネルは非常に真っ直ぐで、ドア、ボンネット、トランクの隙間は左右対称です。このモデルで腐食が発生しやすい重要箇所（車輪アーチやサイドシル）も点検済みで、顕著な錆の兆候は見られません。ガラスはオリジナルで亀裂はありません。バンパーやミラーを含むクローム装飾は良好な状態を保ち、高品質な艶を有します。ゴム製のシールおよびウェザーストリッピングは柔軟性を保ち、適切な密閉性を提供します。
