Founded in 1998, Bodega Numanthia—located in Valdefinjas, in the Castile and León region of northwestern Spain—is an iconic winery in the Toro region. The vineyard is a mosaic of over one hundred small plots, averaging less than one hectare in size. These are very old vines—some over 120 years old—which ensures great complexity and richness. Termanthia represents the ultimate expression of the Tinta de Toro grape. Crafted from vines up to 150 years old, this wine boasts intense fruitiness and a full body; it is elegant and highly complex. Every glass of Termanthia embodies over a century of history, artisanal craftsmanship, and a "haute couture" style.

Tasting Note:
Deep dark red color with a garnet rim and a dense texture.

Uniquely complex, with multiple aromatic layers. Notes of ripe plum and cherry are complemented by hints of violet and black olive, resulting in a balanced and harmonious wine.

On the palate, it displays generous volume with firm, fine-grained tannins. Its complex, intense structure yields an elegant, balanced wine in which subtle, intricate notes of mocha, tobacco, and dried fig integrate seamlessly with the black fruit flavors. The finish is long and persistent, featuring mineral, spicy, and smoky notes.
