Märklin H0 - 3024 - 電気機関車 (1) - BR E18 35 - DB

Very pleased to offer a classic masterpiece of West German toy engineering: the heavy, all-metal Märklin 3024 electric locomotive (BR E 18), featuring the iconic relief lettering "E 1835" on its side. Produced during the golden age of Märklin (circa 1959–1968), this iconic green die-cast model is a true staple for vintage Marklin enthusiasts and collectors.Technical Condition & Dual-Power Testing:Power & Performance: This locomotive has been thoroughly tested and is fully operational. It runs strongly and smoothly. Dual Power Source Feature: A fantastic feature of this model is its versatility—it has been successfully tested and runs perfectly both from the track wheels and directly from the overhead pantographs on the roof. Condition: The Direction Relay: The internal mechanical directional relay is a bit sluggish and hesitant when reversing directions. It requires a minor, standard adjustment or cleaning to snap back into perfect shape. The Wheel Status: Please note that one of the small non-driven wheels is missing. However, a replacement wheel costs only around 5 Euros, and its absence does not affect the running capabilities at all. Visually, it is located underneath the heavy chassis and is almost completely invisible unless the model is inverted. Collector's Note:As a collector rather than a technician, I have decided to leave the model completely untouched. I prefer to leave the minor relay adjustment and the simple wheel replacement to the winning bidder. This allows a true hobbyist or professional collector to enjoy the authentic process of fine-tuning a beautiful, historic piece of postwar model railroading history. Summary: Brand: Märklin (West Germany)Item Number: 3024Locomotive Number: E 1835 (BR E 18)Era: 1960sMaterial: Heavy Die-Cast Metal / ZincSystem: Analog AC (Alternating Current)Status: Tested & Running (Track & Overhead), relay needs minor adjustment, 1 wheel missing (approx. 5€ fix). A heavy, beautiful, and highly collectible locomotive that will make a fantastic addition to any analog layout or display case. It will be packed with professional care and shipped worldwide with full tracking.
