Crafted from polished copper, the samovar features a classic cylindrical body on a square pedestal base, an elegant brass tap, and traditional turned wooden handles and lid finials. Its timeless proportions and robust construction reflect the high standards of Imperial Russian craftsmanship. The body is decorated with a series of embossed Imperial Russian exhibition award medals, including examples commemorating the 1864 Imperial Samovar Exhibition. These medals represent awards and distinctions received by the manufacturer and do not indicate the production date of the samovar. After careful cleaning, the original factory marks have become more clearly visible. The underside bears multiple impressed factory stamps, including the Imperial double-headed eagle, the inscription “Фабрика в Туле” (“Factory in Tula”), and additional manufacturer’s marks consistent with production by the Batashov Brothers.
