Description from the seller
Golden Baroque South Sea Pearl 10.6 X 11.2 mm and 10.88 X 11.3 mm Dangling Hook Earrings Top Grading, 18K Yellow Gold
Each of these exquisite pearl hook earrings is adorned with a large, true baroque, 10.6 X 11.2 mm and 10.88 X 11.3 mm Australian South Sea cultured pearl with excellent luster. They dangle on simple, classic, highly polished 18 karat solid gold French hooks that show off every millimeter of this piece's extraordinary assets. The pearls display a lovely, sought after, natural golden coloration.
Characterized by their irregular, distorted shapes, many pearl aficionados prefer the natural look and feel of these so called "baroque" cultured pearls. Regarding quality, these pearls tend to have the thickest layers of nacre, most intense luster and orient. These true baroque South Sea pearls exhibit clean surface even though their shapes are free form creating beautiful natural curves that allow light to be reflected in a variety of directions, giving the pearls' luster a multicolored palette.
Measure approximately 25.26 mm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the pearl, these stunning earrings will go seamlessly from daytime to evening wear. From special events to just around town, when worn, the irregularities of these baroque pearls just add to the wearer's beauty naturally.
Very few companies assort these "nugget shaped" baroque beauties and we are lucky to offer to you today as it is not easy to find them.
