MV Agusta Cagiva River 500
Ottime condizioni, gommata e tagliandata
Cambiato tutto il necessario, batteria, tubi freni, tutti i liquidi.
Pronta per la stagione.
Moto efficiente e molto valida

Da non confondere con la River 600 che aveva una miriade di problemi.
Questa riprogettata sotto supervisione MV Agusta è tutta un altra moto.
Ne sono state prodotte solamente 490.

La storia della River è purtroppo a molti sconosciuta per colpa del motore privo di personalità e potenza della prima serie del 1995 di 600 cc e della scarsa affidabilità dimostrata nel tempo, finendo così nell’oscurità.
Le River 600 sono state costruite e commercializzate dal 1995 al 1998
per un totale di 1680 motociclette.
Nel 1999 Cagiva ripropone la River
abbassando la cilindrata a 500 cc ottimizzando però il motore.
Infatti la River 500 ha paradossalmente più cavalli del 600.
La nuova versione è più dinamica veloce ed affidabile ma purtroppo soffre della brutta nomea creata dalla sorella maggiore.
Viene prodotta in soli 490 esemplari ultima produzione nel 2004 nonostante sia uscita dal listino tra il 2000 e il 2001 per dar spazio alla più sostanziosa Cagiva Raptor 650
La sua e chiaramente una seconda serie e si evince da due fattori fondamentali riportati proprio sul libretto di circolazione.
La punzonatura con la dicitura MV Agusta avvenne solo nel 2000 quando Claudio Castiglioni ormai unico proprietario di Cagiva decise di cambiare ragione sociale da Cagiva a MV Agusta mantenendo comunque il Brand Cagiva.
Secondo fattore è la cilindrata specificata nel libretto alla voce P.1 che indica 498 cc
Questo puzzle s’è messo insieme ci dice che la sua River 500 fa parte dell’ultima produzione del 2004 rimasta invenduta e probabilmente immatricolata solo nel 2006
