In a Neoclassical style having square stepped bases decorated with swags rams, hand-chased decoration on the columns, round capitals with and detachable nozzles. Bases are semi-closed. Made in Sheffield, 1894 Made by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver 925. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 14.3 Wide at base 8.8 x 8.8 cm Approx. 499 + 501 = 1000 gram (Bruto weight, weighted for stability with materials other then silver) (detachable nozzles weigh 53 grams together).
