Empire Roman blown-glass flacon in pale bluish-green, 105 × 34 × 34 mm, dating to the 1st–3rd century CE, in excellent condition, authentic original item acquired from a gallery/antiquaire in the Netherlands with provenance to the V.A. collection Maastricht, Netherlands, and supplied with an invoice, a certificate of authenticity and an export licence where applicable.

飛び出るほど薄い青緑がかった透明の吹きガラス製のヴァレリアンボトル。腹部はふくらみ、わずかに凹んだ底にはパンドルの痕が残る。胴部には非常に長い首がわずかに広がり、内側へ折り返された縁口で終わり、平坦化している。成形時の不規則さに起因すると思われる軽い歪みを示す口縁で、表面には非常に微小な虹色の痕と、十分に融解されず surface に浮かぶ小さなガラスの残留物が見られる。容器内部には小さな固体の結晶が動く状態で保存されている。
