Antieke Japanse Imari porseleinen tafellamp – Meiji-periode (ca. 1900) Een zeer decoratieve en karakteristieke antieke tafellamp, vervaardigd uit een originele 19e-eeuwse Japanse Imari-olielamp. Het object is in het midden van de 20e eeuw vakkundig omgebouwd naar een elektrische lampvoet, waardoor het perfect past in zowel een klassiek, eclectisch als modern interieur. Herkomst porselein: Japan (Arita-regio), handbeschilderd in de traditionele Imari-stijl met kobaltblauw, ijzerrood en subtiele gouden accenten. Gedecoreerd met florale motieven (chrysanten) en geometrische vlakken. Datering: Late Meiji-periode (ca. 1880 - 1900). Montage: Stevige, gegoten messing voet en kraag, voorzien van een fraai organisch reliëfpatroon en een prachtig, authentiek patina. Elektriciteit: Omgebouwd rond de jaren 50/60. Voorzien van een authentieke bakelieten tweepolige stekker en een vroege drukschakelaar op de messing voet. Afmetingen: Totale hoogte (inclusief fitting) is ca. 30 cm. De porseleinen cilinder is ca. 15 cm hoog. Conditie: Het Imari-porselein bevindt zich in een uitstekende antieke staat zonder zichtbare scheuren of restauraties. Het messing heeft een prachtig door de tijd gevormd patina. De bedrading is origineel vintage en functioneel, maar dient vanwege de ouderdom voor dagelijks intensief gebruik gecontroleerd of gemoderniseerd te worden.
