Authenticated relic of the Holy Cross (Lignum Crucis), preserved in its original sealed round metal theca with glass front, retaining the original ecclesiastical red silk thread and episcopal wax seal.
The relic is identified by the original Latin inscription:
"de ligno SS. Crucis Domini Nostri Jesu Christi."
Translation:
"From the Wood of the Most Holy Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ."
The relic is accompanied by its original episcopal authentique, issued by Bishop Tarcisius Vincenzo Benedetti, Bishop of Lodi (Italy), and dated 30 December 1958.
The original red silk thread and episcopal wax seal remain intact, preserving the integrity of the ecclesiastical authentication.

"We certify and attest by these present letters that we have recognized as authentic the sacred relic described below:
A fragment of the Wood of the Most Holy Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have enclosed this sacred relic in a round metal theca, carefully fastened with red silk thread and sealed with our episcopal seal.
We grant permission for this relic to be exposed for the public veneration of the faithful in churches, public oratories, chapels, and private oratories.
In testimony thereof, we have ordered these letters of authentication to be issued, signed by our hand, and authenticated with the seal of our office.
Given at Lodi, 30 December 1958.
