Large Vintage W.S.P. Travel Trunk – English Green with Brass Hardware – Early 20th Century

Elegant and authentic W.S.P. travel trunk dating from the first half of the 20th century, manufactured following the finest tradition of luxury travel and ocean liner trunks. This impressive piece combines exceptional craftsmanship, durability and timeless design, making it highly desirable for collectors and interior designers alike.

The trunk features a beautiful English green exterior enhanced by black reinforcing bands and decorative brass hardware, including corner protectors, hinges, locks and fittings. The original W.S.P. badge remains on the front, while the locks retain the manufacturer’s markings. Strong metal side handles allow convenient transportation.

The interior preserves its original geometric patterned lining in green and beige tones, together with the removable storage tray and the original fitted document and garment holder attached inside the lid with its original retaining straps. These original interior fittings significantly increase the collectible value of the trunk.

The structure is sturdy, stable and ready for use. It displays the expected signs of age such as light scratches, minor wear and a beautiful original patina that enhances its authenticity. Locks are present; keys may not be included unless shown in the photographs.
