ジュエリーボックス - Bronze, Porcelain - フランスのナポレオン2世

French Napoleon III Style Ormolu and Hand-Painted Porcelain Jewellery Casket, Mid-20th Century A charming French decorative casket in the Napoleon III style, dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950–1970). The casket features an ornate gilt bronze (ormolu) frame enclosing finely hand-painted porcelain plaques decorated with colourful floral bouquets on a vivid cobalt-blue ground, inspired by the celebrated Sèvres porcelain tradition. The hinged lid opens to reveal the original red velvet-lined interior, making it suitable for storing jewellery, keepsakes, letters, or other treasured items. Richly cast ormolu mounts and elegant floral porcelain decoration make this an attractive decorative object for collectors and interior display. Condition Good vintage condition overall, with age-related wear and patina to the gilt bronze. Please note the following condition issues: One of the side porcelain plaques is cracked, with a visible diagonal crack running across the panel (please see photographs). The gilt bronze mount on one corner of the lid is broken, with the damaged section still present but requiring restoration if desired. The interior retains its original red velvet lining, showing light wear consistent with age. These condition issues have been fully reflected in the asking price. Dimensions Width: 18 cm Depth: 13 cm Height: 10 cm Origin France Period Mid-20th Century (circa 1950–1970) Materials Gilt bronze (ormolu), hand-painted porcelain, velvet lining. An elegant French decorative casket inspired by the Napoleon III period, featuring beautifully hand-painted porcelain panels and an ornate ormolu frame. Despite the noted condition issues, it remains an attractive decorative piece and a fine example of classic French decorative craftsmanship.
