Jean-Philippe Stassen (b. 1966, Liege) is a Belgian comic artist known for pioneering graphic-novel treatments of the Rwandan genocide, notably in Deogratias, for which he won the Rene Goscinny Prize. Les Enfants (Dupuis, 2004) is set in the same African Great Lakes region that has been central to much of his work. This page is from that book.
