Authentic Mosasaur Jaw Fragment on Carrara Marble Base

​An exceptional Mosasaur jaw fragment from the Cretaceous phosphate deposits of Khouribga, Morocco. This impressive piece features original fossil teeth complete with roots set within a section of the mandibular bone. While the bone structure has undergone partial, expert restoration, the distinctive natural porosity of the fossil remains beautifully visible. 

The specimen comes elegantly mounted on a custom Carrara marble base, creating a refined balance between raw prehistoric history and classic design.


​Mosasaurus was among the last and largest of the mosasaurs, dominating the oceans as an apex marine predator. The largest known species, Mosasaurus hoffmannii, reached staggering lengths of 17–18 meters (56 feet) and weighed up to 25–30 tons. Built with a long, barrel-shaped body, powerful flippers, and a massive skull, its tightly jointed jaw was designed to overpower large prey near the ocean surface.
