The substantial circular jadeite plaque displays attractive light green to grey-green tones, with natural mottling and variations throughout the stone. The front is elaborately carved in relief with a traditional Chinese landscape scene, featuring dramatic mountain formations, trees, architectural elements and flowing natural scenery. The detailed carving creates considerable visual depth across the broad 52 mm surface, while the polished finish highlights the jadeite's natural lustre and subtle translucency. The reverse is predominantly smooth and polished, clearly displaying the natural colour distribution and internal characteristics of the jadeite.
